This is a program that analyzes a sentence in Japanese, breaking it down to its components, and giving you definitions, pronunciation and examples of each one of them. Tagaini is a dictionary software that features romaji search, animated stroke order, lists, flashcards and more. Move your mouse over the Japanese text to see the translation. ![]() Once you install the plugin, you can activate it by clicking the button on the extension toolbar. Rikaichan can be found hereĪlso available for Firefox is Rikaisama, which is a modification of Rikaichan, that adds many unique features, such as real-time Anki importing. RikaichanRikaichan and Rikaikun are plugins for the Firefox and Chrome browsers (respectively) that provide realtime translation of Japanese words that are hovered over on a Japanese web page. It's probably best if you combine it with a textbook or grammar guide, because you won't be learning much grammar with Rosetta. Sometimes you might find yourself going through the same exercises over and over again, but once you're done you'll probably never forget what you studied. Rosetta StoneRosetta Stone uses a combination of writing, reading and speaking exercises to teach you the language. The program will open and the deck will be added. Once you find a deck you want to use, you need to download the file and open it. In order to download shared decks you need to go to /shared/decks/ there you can browse the different categories.
